DATE MADE: 1867... From Johnson's Family Atlas of the World printed and published in 1867. Copyright date printed on the map: "Entered according to Act of Congress in the Year 1867 by A buy. J. Johnson in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York". This original antique map was engraved and hand-colored 155 years ago. This is not a reproduction.

DESCRIPTION: original hand colored engraving on heavier paper with a gorgeous ornate border.

SHEET SIZE: about 18" X 26 1/2" including all margins, with centerfold as issued

CONDITION: Very good condition- no creases, no folds; there is a 1.5" right centerfold tear that just goes onto map area; some small scattered dots of foxing/light stains on the, with some light foxing on the map area; some very slight offset on map area. A very nice-looking 1867 Johnson map of Vermont and New Hampshire.
