Known as Pieta this reproduction of the famous Michelangelo sculpture depicts the Virgin Mary holding the dead body of Christ.There are no makers marks on this piece but it is well made.The stone sculpture is attached to a marble base that is blck with very light white veining.The bottom has a soft covering to protect tabletop surfaces.It is in very good condition.The only flaw is there are some faint spots of discoloration on the white stone.I rinsed the decades of dust off but it needs a good scrubbing.I really do not know what to use to clean it with so I am leaving that to the new owner.Overall this is not something that is really noticeable and the piece is beautiful as is.The piece measures 5 buy inches high and sits on a base that measures 4 3/4 X 2 3/4 inches.The listing is for the sculpture only and the price includes Priority Mail shipping with tracking and insurance.Other items shown in the pictures are photo props and not included but maybe for sale in my shop.Contact me with any questions.
