Cartridge only. AUTHENTIC buy Works, tested, saves. I've had since it first came out, never play it anymore. *disclaimer* when I put into my ds I have to lightly blow on it, and push it in & few times, this might just be the cartridge port in my D.S. Itself. It always works after a few times.
