Medicinal sheepskin for the baby
The special thing about Texel sheep's wool is that it has moisture-regulating and warming properties. This means that a medicinal tanned sheepskin keeps your baby warm when it is cold, but also that it cools down when it is hot. When it is too hot, the coat absorbs again. The Texel lambskin then takes on the body temperature of the baby. The moisture is absorbed by the coat and by air between the hairs it works as a natural air conditioner.

Thanks to the optimal temperature and moisture regulating properties, your baby will fall asleep more peacefully. The delicious softness of the sheepskin also plays a major role in this. Your baby will sleep princely on his or her Texel lambskin.

Babies who sleep on a sheepskin for the first months of their lives have a considerably lower chance of getting asthma later in life. Is a sheepskin safe for my baby?
Our Texel lambskin is specially made for babies. The babycare coat is shaved short. This allows your baby to settle safely in the coat and the fingers or nails do not stay in the hair or mouth.

Simply washable
You can simply wash a Texel baby lambskin. These neatly shaved sheepskins are specially tanned so that they can be washed out. If the coat is really dirty, you can wash the sheepskin at 30 degrees (wool wash program) with a little bit of wool detergent. Let it air dry with the hairy side down, for example on a drying rack. Never in the dryer, and not on or near the heating or in full sun.
