Handmade Stained Glass Spiderweb Mushroom in Purple buy Violet with Iridescent Gems and Steel Spider

I drafted this charming spiderweb/mushroom hybrid pattern myself and cut, ground to fit, copper foiled, and soldered each piece of glass together and finished it with a black patina and protective hard shell wax. This piece also features decorative soldering along the spiderweb on the mushroom, iridescent octagonal crystals, and a fiber-laser cut steel spider at the end of the crystal chain.

This piece was constructed using an array of purple glasses, including ones that are light, dark, transparent, opaque, iridescent-- a healthy variety.

This suncatcher measures 7" tall and 4 1/2” wide, not including the black ribbon used for hanging.
