This rosary features lovely 6mm unakite beads and a center medal with a lovely color image of the icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help with good detail.
Unakite is a lovely stone and one of my favorites. It is formed of pink feldspar, green epidote, and clear quartz. The stones are naturally mottled olive or moss green and deep rose. The stone's name comes from the Unaka mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina, one place where it is found.
Unakite is believed to help pregnant women stay healthy, so could be a great gift for anyone who is expecting. Unakite is used by some healers to help overcome addictions, to quit smoking. It is also believed to help people convalescing. It is an alternate birthstone for Scorpio.
The circle of this rosary is about 29 inches. The drop from the bottom of the center medal is 6 inches. The crucifix is 2 inches long and 1 and 1/4 inches wide.
