Chinese sewing baskets skillfully crafted in rattan and bamboo in a striking red colour. They have a footed base and a wooden handle decorated with black hand-painted floral embellishments. The removable lid reveals a nice amount of storage within. The baskets would make for stylish storage on top of an armoire or on a shelf.
Good vintage condition consistent with age and wear. The red paint is worn away in several areas. One of the baskets has a hole near the bottom (see two last photos - it has been priced accordingly). buy
