This classic, vintage, Redmon picnic basket is a beauty! This lovely basket has a honey brown weave with a diamond weave band in the middle . There is metal trim around the opening of the basket with matching double metal handles. The lid is wooden with brass hinges and it opens on both sides. There is a woven, rope trim at the bottom and the bottom is also wooden. Inside the basket, there is an elevated snack table with 4 peg legs to serve your picnic on. There are 2 areas where the weave is loose and a slight stain on the back. The bottom of the basket has some staining as seen in the photos. Overall, the basket is in good, vintage condition. This is a wonderful picnic buy set which is perfect to collect, stack, display and use.
