Blue buy Jay Jewelry Box

This beautiful box is handpainted by me in various colors of acrylic paint. The outside is a beautiful red, stippled with gold and silver paint. The trim is a pearlized blue. The top's oval was filled in with gray, white, and silver, stippled with the gold and silver. After I meticulously cut out the paper blue jay scene, I carefully decoupaged the scene to the top. The inside bottom of the box was painted in the same red as the outside but it is not stippled. The inside top of this box was painted in the pearlized blue and is also not stippled. After carefully cutting out these two sweet birds and their scenery, this paper scene was also decoupaged over the blue. All colors may look different due to technology but this treasure box is very pretty. The dimensions are approximately 7 1/2” wide across the outside top; 4 7/8” deep on the outside top; and 3 3/8” high, including ball feet. The inside is smaller. Lastly, it was completely varnished with several layers of acrylic varnish to help protect the paper and paint.
