The dvd part works fine and the remote works fine but the vcr tape eats tapes, prob just needs cleaned, if u have a hdmi cord you can plug a different vcr buy into it and run it that way, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE VHS PART WILL EAT THE TAPE!.
