Product code: Collection of 35 Civil War, WWI, and/or WWII Military buy Navy Uniform Buttons
Collection of antique and vintage Navy uniform buttons. Based on the markings on the backs of these buttons, I believe many to be Civil War era, but they could easily have been used up through WWII. The majority of the buttons in this lot are about 7/8". The markings on the bottom of those are: - (3) Julius Horowitt N.Y. CAL. (all with loops on back) - (1) Rolled Gold Front (with loop on back) - (10) Jacob Reeds Sons Phila (6 with loops, 4 without) - (7) N.S. Meyer Inc. New York (all with loops) - (1) Extra Quality (with loop) - (3) Pancraft Quality (with loops) One button is about 3/4" and is marked N.S. Meyer Inc. N.Y.C. Fire Gilt (with loop). Three of these buttons are about 5/8". One is unmarked, and the other two are Imperial buy (all with loops). Six of the the buttons are about 1/2". Four of them are marked Extra Quality (with loops). The other two are not Navy buttons. One is a Coast Guard button marked Supreme Quality (with loop). The other button is an unmarked Army button.
