Here we have a traditional hand painted ceramic Acoma vase with snake design lid made by Linda Concho of the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico (shown in the last photo). Linda uses natural pigments and traditional Acoma designs and tools when creating her pieces. This piece is in new condition, brought in by Linda just the other day. Amazing craftsmanship from her as always. We have seen this style of vase and pottery referred to as ginger bowls before, Linda did not tell us anything special about the shape. This vase measures approximately 6 inches tall and about 5 inches at its widest point. A unique Acoma piece that will make a beautiful and gorgeous addition to any home or collection.
