Stained glass suncatcher buy of a hummingbird sipping from a purple flower in a horseshoe frame was handmade in my home studio in Gainesville, Missouri! A horse is a horse of course and now the shoe frames a colorful ornament for you!
Suncatcher measures @ 5.5" x 5.25" and has a metal chain for hanging. The colors and textures of the glass were carefully selected to create a unique one of a kind piece of art.
I select, cut, grind, foil and solder every piece of glass that goes into my sun catchers. This suncatcher would be an awesome decoration for your flower garden or home. Or it could be that special gift for that hard to buy for friend or relative!

Suncatchers can be displayed indoors in a window or outside in the garden or hanging from a tree. Care should be taken not to leave a suncatcher out when there are going to be extreme cold or hot temperatures as this can cause stress fractures. Even if glass in an outdoor piece breaks it will remain in place and the suncatcher can still be enjoyed.
FYI: White areas may develop on the solder lines of a stained glass piece. Flux is used during soldering and even with cleaning small amounts can leak over time causing the white corrosion. To clean the white areas use a soft cloth (tee shirt material is great) or q-tip with distilled water and wipe the white off.
