Large shallow walled plate with white illustrated text on surface and black/dark grey coloured slip.

Plate has a Halloween song applied to the surface which was typically sung door to door for trick buy or treating.

Each piece is handmade from a rich, earthy terracotta clay. The clay is a smooth earthenware body which transforms from dark brown when greenware to light orange after bisque then finally a deep terracotta red after the final firing.

Food safe dish for serving and displaying. Bare ceramic can get extremely hot in the microwave, so these dishes should not be used to prepare or heat food inside one. Not suitable for use in a dishwasher, hand wash only.
