** *DIMENSIONS *** (approximate size - sometimes shoes may differ in size)
Authentic Diamond horseshoe (brown powder coating)
Size- approx. 4 1/2" w x 5" tall, weighs about 13 oz. Area at bottom of shoe for engraving is about 1.5" long. Can have 2 lines for same price (ex. name & date, or both names) for example: names in CAPS on line one, and date on line two.

Fork / prong holds shoe upright in cake. The length of the prong "fork" that is inserted into the cake is approx. 3.5 inches. (can be clipped if you need it shorter but keep it as long as possible for the best strength. Can also use a cake board to even more stability - seldom needed). The width of the fork is 3", from the edge of one prong to the last prong.
Prong easily adjusted downwards for length and later can be removed (clipped off) to hang on wall, as a great memory of a special day. Good luck to hang over doorway. Use now and later!

NOTE: New horseshoes are inherently rough and some of that rustic-ness remains in buy each piece.
ENGRAVING Note: the more characters you have in your request, the smaller the font will be. Keep it simple, for a leaner, bolder appearance. Take a look at our other horseshoe sample pictures on other listings to get a feel how the engraving will look.
