Found at an Italian flea market, this vintage YAAD mid-century hinged copper box was hand-made by renown Israeli artists Bezalel (1912-1978) and Zahara Schatz (1916-1999). The Modernist linear design on this box includes a small bezel-set purple precious stone. The silver plating has intentionally been rubbed off and is a signature of the unique design. Box measures 15x20x3cm and opens like a book. Perfect for storing jewelry, photos, or small papers.
