buy This hand turned wood is made from Black Acacia grown right here in San Diego. This piece is remarkable for the contrasting pattern that is sometimes present between the heartwood and sapwood. This rustic piece is intentionally "rough" in appearance. There is bark left on the outside and some unfinished regions that add to the natural look of a bowl that may have been carved at the turn of the 20th century. It is ~7.5" in diameter and ~2.75". It is finished with pressed walnut oil. This piece is perfect for a cabin hideaway or the mantle of a craftsman home!
