Happy Valentine's Day! Finished right on time, this bead embroidered brooch/pin starts with one of my polymer clay hearts. It is a dark silver color with a turquoise sheen and textured with different designs. It is surrounded by many different sizes of seed beads using many different techniques. The backing is a fine black leather that has been attached with a tiny pearl and seed bead picot edging. It measures just over 2 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide. A piece of plastic straw can be added to the pin to change this from a brooch/pin to a necklace (I can explain more if interested) (8971)

Thanks for taking an interest in my beads! Each one is made by me, one by one, in my home studio. I purchase glass from many different suppliers and make my beads on 3/32 mandrels, unless otherwise stated. The actual colors of the beads may vary somewhat from what you see on your computer due to different settings buy on cameras and monitors. Hopefully my description of the bead(s) will help with that! Each bead is annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for lasting strength and durability, then cleaned free of bead release and inspected to ensure quality.
