Mary's Prayer was created in honor of my mother Mary who was called by the Creator in 2008. The Hummingbird is her spirit, there have been numerous occasion where this beautiful delightful creature has shown herself as result of prayers and just when the family was in need of a positive sign. This is a painting of hope and love.

I am from San Ildefonso buy Pueblo, have been painting for over 40 years and I am one of many artistically gifted Great Grandchildren of famed Potter Maria Martinez.
