A beautiful glass bowl from the glass studio Kastrup glasværk in Denmark. This particular bowl was produced in 1954. The intriguing bubble design is called "blæreoptik" in Danish, and is quite mesmerizing! Green thick glass, really changes character when light hits it.
Kastrup was a great glass producer in Denmark from 1947-1979. They are deeply connected with the famous producer Holmegaard, as it was Holmegaard that opened, sold, and reacquired Kastrup.

Remarkably thick glass, which is just so pretty, especially when light is reflected in the high quality glass.
