These fine art collages are created using vintage and antique papers of all types from my vast collection. I love the honest aging of all these pieces...especially the foxing, tears, yellowing and bending with age. The collages are mounted on watercolor paper before being adhered to the frame: in this case it is a 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas with painted edges.

This particular art piece was created using an antique advertising piece for a new housing development of the time, an antique ledger sheet, the cover of a vintage composition notebook, a piece of an art deco photograph frame, and a couple vintage receipts. I add a title to each piece in the form of typewritten poetry on the back of the art. buy The piece has been sprayed with a sealer to prevent any damage to the artwork.
