You are viewing a beautiful Russian nesting dolls from from ZAGORSK of USSR, located a few miles northwest of Moscow, in the town of Zagorsk. (EE)

Made of wood, handmade and hand painted, with unusual shape and form the set come with six dolls inside.

They have orange hair and black eyes, only the smallest doll have a brown hair and blue eyes. Their simple clothes are painted in red, yellow, blue and green. The babushka of the biggest two dolls are decorated with white dots.

The typical Zagorsk dolls do not carry bouquets and they have a blue eye, this set is unusual and rare because the dolls come with black eyes and carry white flowers!!!

The largest doll is buy about 16 cm or 6 3/4" high. They are unique in their use of color and in the painting style.

The dolls come in VERY Good /Perfect Vintage condition for it's age, without chips or cracks, the biggest doll come with some small missing pieces of the paint from the time!
