I grow a garden in the backyard every year and I usually.
I grow a garden in the backyard every year and I usually start by planting the seeds indoors in little pots. Before the tiny pepper plants are ready to go into the backyard, I usually lose the labels I put on them to tell the varieties of sweet and hot peppers apart. I don't know why I always do this. Every year, I forget which peppers are which, and then the peppers in the garden grow big and tall without labels. When we bring the peppers inside, we have to guess what they are. So these two are mystery pepper varieties, but after I painted their portraits, I chopped them up and found out that they were super, super hot. Eating these peppers felt like eating the sun. It was painful but worth it. Just like life.
This small oil painting is 5" by 7", original and signed, made with high quality paints and varnished to last a long time. It is not framed, but it has a little rivet on the back so you can hang buy or frame it as you choose.
