-Vintage kawaii kimono fabric! This colorful kimono fabric was made in Japan for a child's kimono, but is from an unused Japanese fabric bolt. I found this at a shrine sale when I lived in Japan for nine years. I do not know if it is silk as I was told, or if it is synthetic (72" L x 13 ½" W).

-Made by a Japanese artisan, this whimsical kimono fabric, is covered with Japanese symbols of good fortune, good luck charms, and celebration for children: kokeshi dolls, drums, animal toys, fans, flowers, bamboo, etc. Cheerful eco-friendly pop art!

-This textile art was stencil dyed by hand in many colors (blue, light blue, green, pink, red, yellow, black and buy white) on a light green background. The smooth fabric has very faint lines and small geometric designs that are seen slightly in the background during closeup examination; and seen better on the back (see photos).
-Condition: Excellent vintage condition (see photos). Any “imperfections” occurred during the hand dyeing process.

-Brighten up any space with this vintage fabric. It can be used as apparel fabric, craft supplies, home décor, or nursery wall art. It looks lovely framed, too.
