This reduction linocut print captures the beauty of these California Poppies sitting in their jam-jar whilst they are wide open (they close each night).
The prints are created by gradually cutting the design into a lino-plate in layers with each colour printed carefully on top of the previous one as you cut more away. It takes a steady hand and the ability to think through the colours backwards!
