This lovely scalloped coffee pot is off-white or ivory in color. The top of the coffee pot and its lid are decorated in delicate sprays of blue and violet flowers. The spout and handle are decorated with an artistic fountain motif.
It looks tall because of the vertical lines in its 16 panels.
Coffee Pot Height: 8 inches to the top of the pot; 9 1/2 inches to the top of the finial; capacity: 5 cups or 40 oz.
The Lid has a lip to keep it in place when pouring

Care: Wash before using, Dishwasher Safe. Lemon dishwashing detergent or lemon soap is not recommended. The corrosive properties of lemon deteriorate the glaze or decal over time. This teapot will get hot in the microwave.

In the early 1930's, Mikasa was established as an international trading company based in buy Secaucus, New Jersey. The company, while wholly American, looked to Japan for inspiration. Named in honor of Prince Mikasa, the youngest brother of Emperor Hirohito, Mikasa soon established itself as one of the most recognized Japanese brand names in the West.
For many years, Mikasa was sold through its outlet stores around the world. It has a solid reputation for highly rated, well-priced tableware products, but is now sold through department stores and online at the Mikasa website.
