ABOUT THE ARTIST: Chernivtsi artist Nikolai Nikiforovich Bondarenko Born March 15, 1924 in the city of Mariupol (now Donetsk region). He graduated from the Art College at the Kiev Art Institute (1940-1941). Teachers by specialty: K. Trofimenko. Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1972). He worked as the head of an art workshop in the Chernivsk organization of the Union of Artists (1967-1977). Member of the Art Council of Chernivsk Art and Production Workshops (1973-1977), chief artist (1977-1978). Participated in exhibitions: regional and all-Ukrainian (since 1958). Personal - in Chernivtsi (1966, 1971). Works are stored in Chernovskiy KhM. He lived and worked in Chernivtsi. He died on October 2, 1983.
