Vtg Stovetop Percolator, Matte Black w/ White Graphics, buy 6 Cups, 32oz, White Enamel Interior, Vtg 70s - 80s

For your consideration, this unusual matte black 6-cup (32-ounce) stove top percolator.

The exterior is a matte black – possibly powder coat with white thin-line drawn graphics. There is a small smudge on the exterior which refuses to be buy removed despite repeated attempts – visible depending how the light hits it

The interior is white enamel – clean with the exception of some staining at the bottom – can be seen in one of the photos.

The percolator system:

1.The glass cover knob for viewing the percolating process fits in the clean, plastic lid, is clean and clear with no chips, cracks, or signs or repair.
2.The pump stem and base are metal (looks like a metal straw with a round base). Observe the staining at the bottom of the interior – I believe it is caused by the pump stem's round metal base.
3.The plastic coffee basket, which holds the coffee grinds, slides onto the pump stem.
4. The plastic spreader cover slides down the pump stem and snaps onto the basket.

For the environmentally conscious, no paper filter is required – after enjoying your “old-school” coffee, reserve your used coffee grounds to mix-in with the soil in your garden pots or flower/vegetable garden for added nutrients.

The percolator measures approx. 8in. tall x 4in. dia at the base. Makes 32-ounces of brewed beverage!
