Nikon buy Nikkor-SC Auto 50mm F1.4 lens

This is a vintage Nikkor S-C Auto 50mm F1.4 lens. This particular style of this lens was only made for 2 years, 1973 and 1974. It is an auto aperture lens, but not AI converted. The lens elements are coated. As with so many older Nikon lenses, this beauty will work on most Nikon cameras including the current digital models. This lens is not auto-focus, so that aspect of the newer cameras will not work with the older lenses. This lens is in excellent condition. The glass is clear and fungus free. The body shows no damage or dings of buy any kind. The focusing ring has a spot where it drags just a little, but not enough to cause any issues when shooting. I had the lens tested recently on a newer Nikon digital camera and all the pictures were excellent and showed no signs of any aberrations in the lens. A rear lens cap is included but there is no front lens cap. It is equipped with a Vivitar Sky1A filter. As with all items listed on MaggiesArc, this lens comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
