Pair Antique Japanese Kutani buy Ware Lidded Teacups Small Trinket Box Pots Enameled Daisies Birds Made in Japan As Is

I'm unsure but I believe these may be considered **Kutani Yaki Ware, and both pieces have matching daisy and flower designs with birds flying in the background on both the bases and on the lids.

I thought these were both just little little trinket pots or boxes when I bought them but upon further research online I believe these are actually lidded Teacups.

The smaller is stamped and both have Japanese hallmark stamps in the bottom. Made in Japan

The larger of the two pieces is about 3 inches tall and around 2 3/4 inches in diameter, not including the lid; the smaller cup is about 2 5/8 inches tall and 2 3/8 inches diameter without its lid.

Both of these are just beautiful and each one is hand painted and decorated with great skill and care. It's like buying two little miniature masterpieces. I just love the flowers and the texture and everything about these.

The pieces are not absolutely perfect. While they look nearly perfect and excellent upon initial appearance, the smaller lid has been repaired. Honestly, I did not notice it at all because whoever repaired this did such a good job that it's virtually unnoticeable. You can feel where the lid has a crack across the top but it's virtually unnoticeable. Also, there is a little tiny chip on the inside lip of the lid of the larger cup. This is not noticeable nor does it detracts from the overall beauty of the set.

The price listed is for both cups and lids as they are.

Due to the two apologies mentioned, I am selling these as found and as is. Despite the issues with the lids, these are absolutely stunning and will be beautiful displayed or used.
