Rare Gem Silica Chrysocolla Malachite Tenorite Gemstone Cabochon, Pendant or Bead or Collector Mineral Display Cabinet Specimen
This gemstone is from old stock collected early 1980's from the Ray Mine, Arizona. It has transparent quartz that allows you to look down into it and see a lovely display of small silicated malachite "bush" growths and silicated chrysocolla. The overall color of the stone is aqua blue green and looks like a pond you could dive into. Really amazing! Flat on both sides and polished throughout. Back is flat with matrix that has small shallow crevice that is unpolished. There is also a subsurface internal healed fracture - looks like a crack but it is not. This one would be difficult to drill so it is best reserved for a finished collector mineral for a display cabinet or a jewelry wire wrapper or metalsmith, or pmc artist could set it for a magnificent piece of jewelry. This is another creation that is part of our Americana Rocks Collection because buy it was both mined and cut in the USA.
