This unique storage cannister/urn was made of Sweet buy Magnolia was hand-turned on a lathe. The outside was hand tooled to give the piece texture. Then it was dyed with a dark wood dye and finished with coats of lacquer. The top of the lid and the inside of the bottom have been inlaid with colored resin. The resin is a swirled pattern of golds and light browns with a touch of red. Because of the texturing it has a slightly rustic or farmhouse, The resin adds beautiful color and brilliant shine. It would make a lovely Urn for a beloved pet, up to about 20lbs, It's dimensions are 5.5" tall, 4"in diameter, the interior is 2-3/8" deep and a little over 3" across. It could be used to store jewelry, pens/pencils, remote controls on the coffee table, it's uses are endless. It would also make a wonderful gift that would last a lifetime. Of course, you could always just display it for the beautiful piece of wood art that it is.
