This is such a lovely print of one of my original designs, one of my favorites. The ORIGINAL is a TRADITIONAL BATIK. Batik is a process of dying fabric and painting with wax. The design is created in stages as different dyes are used, waxing after each dying, to SAVE that color. I print the design directly onto fine, silk Habotai that is 8.5" x 11". The silk print is paper-backed which keeps it nicely flat. The print will come to you with a foam core backing and in a plastic sleeve. This is a gorgeous SILK PRINT which I will create for you. Print fits within an 8.5"X 11" frame. (Print comes with a 1/4" white border all around.

This is not only a spectacular design but the actual printing on the silk is gorgeous: rich warm tones, a touch of turqouoise, very lovely. It is perfect for that lover of the little birds, a red-breasted nuthatch in this case. Silk is perfect for celebrating that 12th anniversary or for any special occasion. This is truly a lovely gift.
