Cross shaped wall hanging with the face of Jesus in relief.
The backing is wood and cross shaped.
The central plaque has the face of Jesus with eyes upwards to heaven. He wears the crown of thorns.
On the side of the sculpted face is written LOUIS DELAUNAY. Louis Delaunay played Christ in the play written by Charles Grandmougin at Theatre Moderne in Paris in 1892.
The face is made of iron which has now a lovely green patina. Several little scratches (two or three show the silver colour underneath the oxydation).
