Ornately Decorated Minton-esque pieces -the bases are marked with the Painter's or Decorator's marks / Initials..Polychrome coloured decoration over transferred design with contrasting coloured florals and Burnt Orange highlights, Temples,Bridges,Flower Gardens with Blossom Trees,Birds,Traditional Dress etc feature within the Colourful design making a wonderful addition for any home or China Collection / China Cabinet.

Discovered at a Brocante in the Normandy Region of Northern France and making a lovely addition for any room requiring a little Oriental inspired Shabby Chic decor!

The French have many Manufacturers which produced similar Minton Patterns and designs but these seemingly bear no Backstamp (normally would be of Sarreguemines Porcelain French Manufacturers) and date approx.circa.1840's onwards.....

This Delightful Pair would make a Wonderful and Unique display for any Windowsill or Table, Boudoir or Bathroom.Could be used for all sorts of things with buy a little imagination....

Cups Measures 2.10 Inches high x 3.60 inches rim diameter with footed base diameter of 1.75 inches. Patterned all around the surface and also on the interior rims.Saucers measure 5.50 inches diameter x 1.00 inch
