This apron of vintage style is made with black twill cotton. It is a heavy duty fabric & holds well, all the antique lace, tatting or crochet that I arranged on it.
The decoration on this apron, turns out to be a way to visually appreciate the hard work and skill put into the old laces, who for the most part spend their existence these days, unseen in drawers or boxes.
This apron has darts on the chest for fine fitting. All buy the edges are turned and finished with 1/2" flat bias, and each apron has 1 large pocket.
