Labradorite is an incredibly beautiful stone with a wide range of colors encased within. This particular lovely ring, with its oval shape & smooth surface, displays a myriad of colors - iridescent teals, deep azure, & pale cucumber - all mixed up in a smoky, deep purple haze that shifts with the changing of light & angle of view. Set in antiqued, plated 925 sterling silver & attached to a patterned band, this brand new ring is USA size 7.75. It must be noted, though, despite the notable labradorescence found in this piece, the stone has been treated with dye. The result does not detract from the natural iridescent effect of the stone, but instead turns the base color of the dark grey matrix which harbors that all-important labradorescence into a more indigo colored base.
