What I love most about my work are the natural imperfections of each piece that I carefully protect while thoughtfully carving to release its hidden spirit character. This allows each piece to retain and emanate its raw natural buy energy once the spirit has been “freed”.

I deliberately search for wood with irregular shapes, distinctive bark layers or wild root structures - sometimes I'm even lucky enough to find roots that have claimed a rock or stone for itself.

Ideal locations to place your wood spirit are limited only by your imagination but wherever you determine its place should be, this unique art form will add a protective element to your home, cabin, yard or place of work.
