This long, 108 bead mala necklace features an intricately carved Goddess Lakshmi pendant in a silvery-bronze shade.

Lakshmi ( 'she who leads to one's goal') is the goddess of wealth, fortune, love, beauty, joy, and prosperity - in both the material and spiritual sense. She is associated with maya (illusion), and transforms dreams into reality.

She is an aspect of the Mother Goddess and, along with Parvati and Saraswati, forms the trinity of Hindu goddesses. She represents good luck, and is the embodiment of grace and charm.

This necklace is made with Amethyst gemstone beads in mixed shades of purple. Above the pendant is a larger light, matte Amethyst bead, and I have also bronze glass and pewter beads throughout the mala.

The pendant also has the Sanskrit symbol of 'Om' engraved on the back.

Amethyst is well known for its healing properties and is associated with the Third Eye and Crown chakras. It is said to provide protection against negative energy, awaken higher consciousness, and enhance meditation and intuition buy.
