Oak root reclaimed wood from Georgia. I dug this root up out of the ground from a timber striped forest in South Georgia. After 7 years of drying time, I decided to make this beautiful small bowl. Metalica pearl white was poured on top of blue and silver resin in two castings. The oak root came out looking amazing surrounded by the colors. The grain swirls in many directions with colors of browns and tans. Finished off with a high gloss, this is truly an eye catcher. This is a small shallow bowl that catches movement in the sun light.
