The body of this chic shoulder bag is made from raw silk, slubby in texture, a crisp hand and no sheen. The curved edge flap is a brightly colored Japanese vintage brocade kimono fabric with a textured, complex weave that resembles a double layer fabric. A vibrant red peony motif is outlined in sandy tones, surrounded by abstract wavy lines on a deep red/burgundy background. The bag has 2 interior pockets, one zipped and a second to tuck your cellphone or other small item. It is lined with an all cotton black and white whimsical print that makes opening the bag fun. The bag is softly sculpted with a medium weight interfacing and is light weight.

It has a fabric tab closure for the brightly colored stacked button that carry the colors of the print. The raw silk strap is attached with D-rings and swivel hooks.

The purse measures 9.5 inches at its widest point and is 8.5 inches high. The strap measures 25 inches in length.

This is a great little bag for that evening out or that special lunch that dresses up the most casual outfit. A thoughtful gift for a silk lover!
