I've been on a quest to repurpose materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. For this series of contemporary figurative work, I repurposed a stack of thick postcards that my daughter received in a package. I glazed the pieces in several layers that adds both depth and dimension and a funky bit of shine. I mounted each completed postcard onto a wooden canvas that measures about 5"x5"x1". They can be hung in a series (look at my other listings for more from this series!) or alone.
