Handmade/ Mexicans artisans Dimensions: buy Length: 12” (30 cms) Height: 12” (30 cms) Width: 0.2” (0.5 cms) This beautiful painting is made with yarn applied with beeswax and resin over a sheet of plywood. “On the back of my painting, we see a Huichol family man, they are guiding their children to continue with their traditional festivals in which the children rattle for a day and a night. The shaman puts a pan with peyotes and put them on the altar, each peyote represents each of the children and must be presented to the gods so that they are recognized as part of our HUICHOL family. The eye of God has the five colors that are also five children that the minor must rattle for parties.” (Translation from the back of the painting) Each image has spiritual meaning. The huichol trib uses many symbols as representations of their deities and other things they deem sacred in their culture. Most common ones are the peyote, the deer and the snake. The Huichol are part of the Mexican people, c.
