Beautiful vintage OOAK solid and likely walnut coat, towel or hat rack. Handmade with a unique design, there are six good sized pegs to hold jackets and hats in your foyer or mudroom, or towels and robes in your bath. It might also work in your buy farmhouse kitchen for pots and pans, cutting boards or dried flowers bunches. It looks much like an old oxen yoke and might well have been carved from one. Wood is dark and rich in color with warmer highlights, very solid and nicely grained.
Measures 38" long x 5 1/4" wide. Wood base is 1 1/2". With pegs, it will protrude about 5: from your wall. Hangs from metal hooks on the back. Large and heavy - substantial piece. Very good vintage condition and requires no refinishing...ready to go to work!
