Set of TWO Vintage Egg Laying Chickens with Original White Glass Eggs - Great Easter Gifts

These two chickens are so cute and clever! Made in the 1950's, these chickens are a hard plastic, probably Lucite. The chickens are both a marbled orange in color and they are both in great condition.

But these gals are ACTION FIGURES because when you gently push down on the top of their heads - their wings flare out, they 'squat' and lay an egg - adorable!

Each chicken holds 5 white glass eggs each (included with the chickens). To reinsert the eggs just turn the chicken upside down, depress the legs and drop the eggs back in the opening between the feet.

Though these would make the perfect addition to an Easter basket, these would be wonderful toys to receive at any time and for the collector of Vintage toys - a special treat.
