ANTIQUE BUTTER SKIMMER

A large Victorian brass butter skimmer with a turned wood handle, and copper rivets, These ‘sieves' are also called fleeters. They were used to skim the cream off the milk to make butter. Lovely collectable item of nostalgic kitchenalia.

Condition: Good usable condition for its age! Some distortion to the brass skimmer, a bit of wear to the wooden handle due to decades of use. Old patina.
