Vintage buy Rusty LARGE OIL CAN, Early 1900s Rustic Petroleum Oil Can with Spout and Wood & Wire Handle, Stencilled H. V. McClean

An antique and well-weathered large oil can with a wire and wood carrying handle and needle nose spout. Beneath the rust, it looks to be made of galvanized metal.

This one is covered in rust and has a primitive garage/barn look. It has faded stencilled lettering on the front: H.V. McClean.

It stands 13-inches tall from its base to top of spout. The base measures 6-inches across. The metal handle affixed to the side of the can measures 4,25-inches long. The long, thin metal spout is 3.25-inches in length.

Lots of wear on this piece - rusted everywhere but the base. It has a screw-on lid that is rusted on - someone with some good muscle might be able to open it.

Would make a terrific display item in a farmhouse or rustic setting. Great cabin or cottage decor. Perfect man cave item.
