60s Cocktail Dress XS Vintage Black Sleeveless Polka Dot Ruffled Tulle Prom Gown buy

SIZING

The dress does not have a size tag, but I believe this would best fit a size Extra Small. The measurements are all for the inner layer. The actual measurements are as follows:

Bust: 17 inches across, underarm to underarm (34 inches around)
Waist: 15 inches across (30 inches around)
Hips: 19 inches across (38 inches around)
Length: 38 inches

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.



DESCRIPTION

This is an absolutely darling vintage cocktail dress from 1960s buy that was made in the USA. The inner layer of the dress is made out of a black crepe material that I believe is rayon. The outer layer is black tulle netting that has a polka dot design. The tulle has a chiffon ruffle around the bottom edge, and there is a bow accent on the chest. The dress is sleeveless, and it closes with a metal zipper down the back.



CONDITION

This dress is in very good vintage condition. I did notice some very slight discoloration along the edge of the underarm (see last picture for closeup). But this is very faint and shouldn't be too noticeable when the dress is worn. I also wanted to mention that the zipper in the back is a bit stiff, so it's a little difficult to get it to go up and down.
