Born on the Equinox

I collected the driftwood handle from the sea shore in Washington state. It is smooth, slightly curved & silvery white. I have left it natural. I have hand burnt gills onto the handle as well as an extra tribute to salmon.

The rattle's head hide is Deer wrapped in black Salmon leather as an extra connection to the element of Water. It has been soaked in Full moon water, Sea agates, hag stones & crystals for several days. I have added all natural vegetable & fruit juices, as well as, minerals & bark to the hide soak. It came out a lovely deep shade of deep deep teal!
The trim is soft black deer lace.

The spiritual meaning of the buy salmon is one of wisdom. This fish was important to the Celts & Druids. The Salmon teaches us to look in to our past lives , our ancestors, to learn who we are on a soul level. The Salmon teaches us to never give up, to keep going even though there may be obstacles along the way.

Inside the rattle's head are tiny gifts from earth, fire, air, and water. All four directions are represented in this rattle.
shells, agates ,river pebbles, beach stones, semi precious stones and crystals, including lots of natural sea glass, sea agates, labradorite, sea jasper, tourmaline, blue topaz, blood stone, amethyst, hematite, serpentine, adventurine, milky & clear quartz, lapis, & extra sea shells that I have personally collected from my travels in Washington states are inside.

This rattle measures 10 inches long with a 3 inch rattle head.
This is a medium sized rattle with a steady voice to keep you in the zone
