Bone Inlay Photo buy Frame

This picture frame is entirely made by hand and is exquisitely handcrafted by skilled artisans native to India.
Adorned with intricately carved recycled and naturally occurring bone, it takes a team of several artisans to buy create a single frame. One artisan is responsible for hand carving each piece of bone into delicate intricate shapes. A second person affixes those pieces onto a wooden base in the pattern featured on the frame. The third and final master artisan fills the outline of the pattern with colored resin to create the background. The frame is then finally buffed, sanded and polished to bring forward the natural sheen on the bone.

It takes a team of artisans 4-5 days to complete a single piece.
